More Than a Traditional Broker

Built to act like part of your company.

We deliberately represent fewer brands so every partnership receives the attention, access and accountability it deserves.

RNR Partners is a nationally recognized food consulting and brokerage firm specializing in snacks, confections, nuts, trail mixes and impulse categories. Based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, we combine entrepreneurial agility with decades of industry experience and deeply rooted relationships across grocery, farm and home, specialty, wholesale, convenience and drug channels.

We do not measure success by the number of lines we carry. We measure it by the businesses we help build, the retailers we serve well and the partnerships that grow stronger over time.

It all started at Child’s World more than 40 years ago, where Matt sold and repaired bicycles. A born salesman, he later landed a job with Nutcracker Brands in 1985, where he climbed the sales ranks over the next decade.

In 1996, Matt was recruited by Superior Nut Company to be Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Over the next 25 years, he helped grow the company by 900%, transforming it from a small regional company into a national player by developing its branded and private-label canned nut line and securing shelf space at national retailers including Walmart, ALDI and Big Lots.

Matt has decades of experience representing brands at renowned industry trade shows such as ECRM, NCA and Mid-States, as well as developing planograms for regional and national retailers. He now brings that food-industry experience, knowledge and proven success to RNR Partners as President.
